UNITED BY MUSIC. DRIVEN BY PURPOSE. ACTIVATED BY MEMBERS.

THE DAY THAT MUSIC CARES COMES TO LIFE ON JUNE 5, 2026

The Recording Academy is inviting members, staff, and every corner of the music community to step out of the studio, off the stage, and into their neighborhoods to give back.

Whether you join an Academy-organized opportunity near you or tune into a virtual volunteer activity, your participation is what defines this day. This is how our community shows up. This is The Day That Music Cares.

JOIN US

The best way to experience The Day That Music Cares is by joining an Academy volunteer event near you. You’ll be shoulder to shoulder with fellow members and staff, working on something that matters together. For a complete list of service activations hosted by Chapter staff, Academy team members, and elected leaders, visit the Opportunities page to see what is happening in your area.

STAY LOCAL

TESTIMONIALS

One community. One day. The kind of impact that people remember.

Last year, over 2,600 members participated, from more than 50 cities, and serviced 13 diverse cause areas. This year, we want to go further. And that only happens if more of us show up.
