Marcella Simien is a Louisiana-born artist and a proud ninth-generation Creole. Her music is a soulful reflection of her deeply personal journey through spirituality and identity. With a genre-defying sound that blends Soul, American Roots, Blues, Jazz, and more, Simien crafts a sonic experience that is both timeless and uniquely her own. Drawing from the rich cultural heritage of her lineage, she bridges tradition and innovation with powerful authenticity and heart. She brings this same care to her work in the yoga and wellness sphere. She is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance, an Orpheum certified Teaching Artist and is currently in training with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts.
